The Myrovlytis Trust is delighted to announce the appointment of Alison Taylor as our Chief Executive Officer. Alison joins us with a wealth of knowledge as a charity CEO and working in the rare diseases community. Her previous roles include CEO for the Children’s Liver Disease Foundation and Head of Services, Education and Research for Meningitis NOW.
Alison commented: “I am excited and honoured to have been given the opportunity to lead this remarkable charity. So much has been achieved by the current team. I look forward to working with the board, staff, patients, scientific community and partners as we build on those successes. My heartfelt thanks go to Anna as she hands over the baton and continues to support the charity in a consultancy role”.
Amit Bhagwat reflected sentiments of the trustee board: “The trustees are delighted to welcome Alison as our new CEO as we thank Anna for her hard work resurrecting the charity from its dormancy back in 2020. We are glad that we are able to achieve smooth transition to Alison, with all her passion and experience in our sector.”
The trust would like to take this opportunity to thank Anna Webb for her exceptional work as the trust’s CEO over the past two years. Her work building relationships across the rare diseases community has been paramount in the trusts success and has ensured the rare communities we work with have a network of support for a sustainable future. Anna is keen to continue to support the trust and will serve in a consultancy capacity to ensure a smooth handover to Alison.
