Safeguarding Statement
Safeguarding Statement
At the Myrovlytis Trust, we are committed to creating a safe and inclusive place for our staff and volunteers to work in and for those who we encounter us through our endeavours.
We believe that every person has the right to feel safe and it is unacceptable for anyone to experience abuse of any kind, regardless of their race, age, ability, gender, identity, sexual orientation, religion, or belief.
We recognise it is the responsibility of all trust staff and volunteers to safeguard and promote the welfare of our colleagues, volunteers and those who encounter us through our work. We all have a duty to report concerns wherever they arise for example through our work in support of patients and families, at fundraising events or regarding the behaviour or practice of staff and/or volunteers.
All safeguarding concerns will be addressed by the CEO unless the concern is raised about this individual in which case our Board of Trustees will take the responsibility of the investigation.
Should you have any safeguarding concerns you would like to report to us, please email us at contact@myrovlytistrust.org , write to us at Myrovlytis Trust, 26 Cadogan Square, London, SW1X 0JP or telephone 020 8050 2091
